About the project

A Dobro.ru service for taking part in community project competitions — from choosing a competition and applying to voting and reporting on delivery.

Challenge

Design the interface from scratch and cover the entire application lifecycle: drafts, moderation, revisions, voting and reporting. Meet the client’s requirements while making the current status and next available action clear to users.

My contribution

I clarified requirements and user flows with analysts and worked closely with the development team. I designed catalogues, detail pages, validated forms, a personal dashboard and responsive layouts, refining the visual hierarchy and interface states.

Outcome

A set of screens covering the journey from finding a competition to completing a project. Forms, statuses and actions form consistent flows, including revising an application and submitting a report.

Responsive catalogue: filters and key flows on mobile screens

Form validation: inline errors help users identify and fix application issues

Application form: a long form divided into clear sections with explicit requirements

Project details: requirements, attributes and the primary action on one readable page

Competition and project catalogue: filters, statuses and cards help users find relevant initiatives

Volunteer dashboard: initiatives grouped by status, with projects requiring action clearly highlighted
